TaterWare

TaterWare products are made from potatoes! Yes, potatoes. Miracle Sanitation is now carrying a line of cups, bowls, and plates that are made from a unique biopolymer resin from potato starch that is heated and formed into sturdy food service products using the same normal injection molding system as plastics. This patented plant material product is free of genetically modified organics and provides discerning customers with an annually renewable alternative to non-biodegradable plastics and polystyrene. Earth Cups

The Earth Eup translates into Earth Kindness. It is a hot beverage container you can use with a clear conscience. The Earth Cup comes in several sizes and all are made from 100% biodegradable and compostable organic materials. The cup exterior features a premium 22 pt. paperboard that delivers a sturdy performance and feel. Traditional cups have a polyethylene coating which doesn't compost and is a non-renewable material. The Earth Cups are lined with a plant-based coating that is made from annually renewable resources. In fact, the no-leak bottom is double-coated with this bio-based material. The Earth Cup hot containers stand up to high temperatures, which means they are suitable for coffee, tea, or any hot beverage. In addition, the Insulated Earth Cup series keeps drinks hot longer, by up to 26%, which translates into an additional fifteen minutes of heat. The double-walled construction of the Insulated Earth Cup forms air pockets that protect hands from the heat of the beverage and eliminates the expense and storage of cup sleeves!

When purchasing the Earth Cups, don't forget the lid! The CPLA lids are made from a biodegradable polylactic biopolymer with a look and feel like plastic, but made without any petroleum. The lids are also heat stable for hot beverages and soups.
